AVI Not Importing to Pinnacle Studio - Solution

AVI not working in Pinnacle? In this article, you will learn how to edit AVI videos in Pinnacle smoothly.

I tried to import the AVI files into Pinnacle Studio and burn a DVD that I can watch on my TV. But some how, the video/pictures are running at a very slow speed that I cannot edit. After that, I searched on Google for solutions. It seems that a lot of users encounter such issue as well. In this article, I will write down some solutions for you if you also meet problems while importing AVI files to Pinnacle

Solution One:

Actually, I found a detailed tutorial on a professional forum which tell us what to do if videos are Slow or Sluggish Performance in Edit mode in Pinnalce.

If you think the tutorial is useless to you (in fact, it is useless to me), here is the second solution for you.

Solution Two:

Although, it claims that Pinnacle Studio can support AVI files, AVI is a container format with different video audio codecs and possibly the AVI File format is not what Pinnacle wants to see. Possibly there could be a flavor of AVI it is expecting. Here you can view the Video codecs in use. Once isolate the import source, you can look at options to import it directly, or try to find software to convert the AVI files to MPEG (mpg).

Brorsoft Video Converter is a professional tool that can deal with most kind of AVI videos regardless of the different codec to MPEG for Pinnacle Studio editing without quality loss. Plus, with the built-in video editor, you can also choose to trim, crop, add watermark to your original videos. Now just download its free trail version and follow the below guide to convert AVI for playing and editing in Pinnacle Studio.
